This easy s’mores inspired cold brew coffee recipe is the perfect for a hot summer day, and easier than brewing a cup yourself.
Coffee is one of those things that you can make a million different ways and still not run out of options. I know that the traditional way to drink it is fresh, hot, and mixed with cream and sugar, but I love coming up with fun new flavor combinations and methods that raise the bar on the basic cup of coffee. I have always preferred it cold, and I love that cold brew options have started to become readily available for people like me who drink it over ice. Do you love fun new coffee recipes as much as I do? If so, this one is for you! Say hello to my new S’mores Vanilla Iced Coffee.
Yum, right? This double layer coffee requires no brewing, and will take you less than five minutes to whip up thanks to the new Gevalia Cold Brew Concentrate that I found the other day. This shelf stable coffee is a concentrated formula, meant to be mixed with your favorite add-ins and personalized. You can find it in the coffee aisle at your local Walmart, and a 32oz bottle will give you 8 full servings. I chose to go with vanilla for this recipe, but they also have a house blend available. Quality-wise it is perfect, and the flavor is full, rich, and great for customizing with add-ins. Another great thing about this made to be mixed concentrate? It is a much more affordable option than buying a week’s worth of speciality drinks at a coffee shop.
Moving on to the recipe, here is what you need:
- 1 cup Gevalia Cold Brew Iced Coffee Concentrate
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 4 ice cubes
- 6 marshmallows
- 2 graham crackers, split into 4 sticks
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- Cooking torch
To make your drink, combine coffee concentrate, milk, marshmallow fluff, and ice in a blender and pulse until thoroughly mixed and smooth. Pour evenly into two glasses.
Next, top with three marshmallows and two graham cracker sticks. Take your torch and burn the tops of your marshmallows, and then sprinkle mini chocolate chips over everything.
After that, stick in a straw and drink!
Wasn’t that easy? I love how the flavors in this drink mix well together, and I really think the marshmallow cream adds a whole new richness to the coffee that regular milk or cream doesn’t give it. This is something that I can whip up any time, and it won’t ever get old! You can find Gevalia Cold Brew for $5.90 at your local Walmart in the coffee aisle. Go here to score an ibotta offer.
