Baby Bath Time Basket

November 14, 2015 by Jess MillionMoments

I created this gift basket as part of a sponsored post for SocialStars. #JohnsonsPartners

Right around now is when I start thinking about Christmas gifts each year. I make lists of who I need to shop for, what I need to buy, and what I can get away with making myself. I adore handmade gifts, and over the years I’ve found that my favorite way to gift is through a mix of bought items and DIY combined in a gift basket. Not only are they super fun to create, but I feel like gift baskets are so much more personal than the standard “single gift in wrapping paper” that I’ve become used to. With gift baskets I can give several personalized items, really get creative, and wrap it up in an adorable package that is sure to get noticed! I’ve got a few great gift baskets that I will be sharing over the next month, and I am going to kick things off with one that is perfect for the new mom in your life! It has bath and pampering goodies for both mom and baby, and it’s just bursting with cuteness!

This basket is all about bath time and pampering, and I built it around the colors of JOHNSON’S® new Circo designer bottles that are sold exclusively at Target and Target.com. Aren’t they cute? I am loving that color, and the simple designs really dress them up!

I started out making two different versions of this basket, but in the end I combined everything into one. Just as an fyi, both versions are pictured here – the first is a great idea for a nature loving mama because it has an adorable cloth diaper in the exact same color as my bottles. How cool is that? If your recipient isn’t into that, you can use a cute pink robe in its place! So no lets get into just what makes up this basket. First things first though, it is gorgeous – the colors, the arrangement, the cuddly fabrics… It is fabulous, and it all came from Target.

The basket itself I thought was perfect for two reasons: One is for the way it looks, and two is because it is the perfect bathroom basket. The fabric lining is washable, and it can be a great place to store baby towels, washcloths, diapers, or you can even use it to hold baby clothes when you take them off for a bath. After a few days worth, just toss them in the wash along with the basket liner and you are good to go!

Since this is a pampering themed basket, I had to include a set of JOHNSON’S® Baby Wash and Baby Lotion in my absolute favorite scent of Honey Apple. I first discovered it earlier this year, and ever since it has been all we use because it smells amazing! So, any baby gift that I give is going to come with a set of them. I also included a little duck hand scrubber to use in the bath. I love these because they are like puppets, but washcloths too and they make bath time super fun! Also for baby is the robe/diaper and a little snuggly teddy bear that they can cuddle once they get dried off.

For mama we have a lavender scented soy candle. I love lavender anything when I’m in the mood to relax or when I have had a stressful day. I find it very calming, and it is great for my headaches. Most new moms have more than their share of sleepless nights, stress, and headaches so I thought it would be a great addition to my basket. Lastly I have a cute coffee mug, because yeah. If you’re anything like me then you no doubt chug large quantities of coffee every day, because being a mom is exhausting. And I am always in the mood for a cool new mug, so I bought one for myself too!

So there you go, a super simple but super stylish Mama & Baby Bath Time Basket. Oh yeah, and if this color scheme isn’t your thing, guess what? JOHNSON’S® has you covered!
