I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central forOshKosh B’Gosh. I received an OshKoshB’Gosh gift card to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. #backtobgosh #bgoshjeanius
Starting kindergarten is a pretty big deal. It is the beginning of a new life chapter, and for a lot of kids it is their first experience in a school setting. When I was growing up, my parents used to take me out to the mall for a new school wardrobe each year, and now that Judah is that age I want to start the tradition with him as well. And since I can’t buy for one without the other, we all headed out to the Oshkosh B’Gosh store and stocked up on the latest fashions for a great new school year!
Judah is one amazing kid. Seriously, I know everyone says that about their children, but he is genuinely, crazily, weirdly, all around amazing. He has his quirks, but he is the sweetest, smartest, most thoughtful guy ever and I can’t believe he is finally in kindergarten! In preparation for the big day I went through his closet and wow – it was like this kid grew a foot over the past year! None of his t-shirts stayed below his pants line when he raised his arms and the hem of his jeans brushed his ankles. Where in the world did my little boy go?
I ended up putting 8 shirts and 5 pairs of pants in the donation pile, as well as most of his thick socks and three pairs of shoes. Talk about starting over, right?! I wasn’t looking to spend a ton on new clothes, but I didn’t want to sacrifice style so I chose Oshkosh B’Gosh because I love the brand and I know I can get a lot for what I spend. They have all the season’s must-haves, and my only problem was choosing what to buy because we loved everything! The first thing Judah chose was a pair of adorable red sneakers. He LOVES anything red, and as soon as he saw them he just had to have them. Next we moved on to outfits, starting with this “Stay Wild” tee (that totally glows in the dark) and indigo skinny jeans.
He also put together this outfit that includes an adorable robot dinosaur graphic tee, a stylish puffer vest and basic dark wash jeans. One thing I love is how easily all these pieces can be mixed and matched, which is great for those super busy mornings!
He can’t wear graphic tees every day, so he also chose a nice plaid button down that he can pair with almost anything.
Kaia hadn’t grown nearly as much so a lot of her clothes still fit, but I wanted to update her wardrobe a bit so we went with trendy with tunics and leggings. She is super active, so I love that leggings are in style right now, and I love even more that OshKosh has tons of mix and match tunics/leggings to choose from!
Cute, right? This “Meet me in Paris” tee is probably my favorite shirt she owns and it fits her personality perfectly!
It looks great with jeans as well, and since OshKosh is rocking the super popular indigo shades I picked up some for her. Speaking of jeans – I feel like these guys really know their jeans. They have all the latest styles and shades, and of course they have the world’s best overalls!
She also picked out a cute pink tunic that says “Look on the bright side” that I can pair with almost any pants she has.
Did I mention that I got all this and still kept my price tag under $200? Because I totally did thanks to OshKosh’s amazing prices and a handy little coupon. Want one for yourself? Here you go (just right click and print):
And if great savings and awesome style isn’t enough, have you heard about the new “B’Gosh Jeanius” campaign? OshKosh believes that every kid should have what they need for school, so they have teamed up with K.I.D.S./ Fashion Delivers, Inc., and DonorsChoose.org to allow customers to to donate a new pair of jeans or make a cash donation to a students in need this school year. And not only that, but the Carters Charitable foundation will match all cash donations up to $50,000 and all denim donations with a new item of clothing. Want more information?
