I created this gift basket as part of a sponsored post with Socialstars and JOHNSON’S®. #JohnsonsPartners #MoreForYou
It’s no secret that I favor Summer the most out of all the seasons, but the one that brings me the most nostalgia is Fall. Growing up I loved all the colors and excitement happening as the days turned cool and the leaves started to change, and the smells that filled the air always meant something delicious was in the oven. To this day, the smells of cinnamon, apple, berry, and many others have the power to immediately bring me back to cool days with my family, the holidays, and togetherness. It is getting to be around that time here, so I decided to whip up an adorable gift basket that is perfect for sharing my favorite smells of the season in a really cute way. Since Fall for me is all about baking up sweet treats, crackling fireplaces and togetherness I came up with an adorable “Fall Baking Basket” that is perfect for the baker in your life.
I adore gift baskets and baking, so for me this is perfect. Not only is it filled with little goodies to help make the year’s best treats, it also has a few crafty and pampering items tucked in as well. Now let’s talk about what I put in it. I wanted to keep in the Fall theme, so everything in it has something to do with a Fall scent or treat. I started with some trendy items like a six pack of mini pie pans and reusable silicone baking cups, because this season is all about personal sized snacks. Mini is IN, and I personally love baking mini pies. And of course cupcakes never go out of style.
Inside the pie pans I have some cute felt pumpkins and maple leaves that work as embellishments on crafts or scattered around a tablescape. You could even glue them to napkin rings to make them super festive! Cookies are always a hit during the holidays, so I packed a cute set of cookie cutters inside a small craft bag I had sitting around, and it matched my basket perfectly.
Also in my basket is a jar full of cinnamon and a honey dipper, because honey and cinnamon seem to go really well in Fall baking. Plus I just love how cute they are!
I didn’t want my basket to be all work and no play, so I of course had to include some kind of pampering item. I love a good lotion to soothe tired hands after a day in the kitchen, so I added in a bottle of my new favorite lotion which is JOHNSON’S® baby lotion with honey apple. It smells amazing, and both honey and apple are known for their sweet smell and skin nourishing benefits. I originally got it for Kaia because it is allergy tested, has gentle emollients to help maintain moisture for 24 hours and is clinically proven to be gentle and mild for baby’s skin, but after experiencing it I totally use it for myself too!
They also have a baby wash in the same scent, so if you like the lotion you will love JOHNSON’S® baby moisture wash with honey apple just as much! It’s a NO MORE TEARS® formula that is as gentle to eyes as pure water, it has a rich lather that nourishes as it cleans and it is dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. The baby wash would be perfect for putting in a child’s gift basket to go along with our baking basket for mama, or you could just put both in there!
