I am a Step2 Ambassador and was sent this awesome Great Outdoors Playhouse to check out. All opinions are my own.
Spring is my absolute favorite time of the year, and now that it is finally here it’s time to start sprucing up my back yard, dust off the outdoor toys and let the kids spend their days in the sun! They are at the age where their baby toys from the last few years no longer hold their interest, so I decided that it was time to think about some larger scale outdoor fun from now on. I was super excited when Step2 sent them this amazing Great Outdoors Playhouse to test out, and I’m pretty sure they think I’m the coolest mom ever now!

The Great Outdoors Playhouse has three different activity stations to choose from, and each of them keeps them engaged and entertained for a good amount of time. Check out the adorable grill – it has a removable lid, utensils and hooks to hang them on. And see those blue wings to the side? They’re perfect for pulling up a pint sized chair and picnicking bar style.

We love the water pump station – it is great for teaching cause and effect, how basic gears work and keeps them busy so mama can prop her feet up and relax! Plus all that running to the hose and lugging water jugs back helps keep them active AND lets them get all their energy out.

Have a little gardener? Check out the planter station with accessories where you can plant real flowers, make mud pies, store play food, and more. If you want to include a fun sensory activity you can hide little toys or figurines in the dirt and let your kids dig around with their hands to find them!

There are tons of other activities and cool things that kids can do with this playhouse like stringing up curtains to go around the frame or bringing a couple of chairs in for them to sit in. Want to see more? Since we loved it so much we made a video! Check it out:
The Step2 Great Outdoors Playhouse is geared towards kids ages 1-5 and is available exclusively at Toys R’ Us for $199.99. Hey, that’s a great deal for a season (and beyond) full of fun!
