I know I’ve been sharing all kinds of snack mixes and treats the past few weeks, but isn’t that what the holidays are about? I mean, the gifts and family time is great, but it’s the food that everyone indulges in! It’s super cold outside today, and since my daughter is currently uber obsessed with wearing her Elsa dress around everywhere, I thought I’d whip up a cute FROZEN themed Chex mix. It is super easy, great for the kids to help make, and tastes delicious! This is a great party treat, and perfect for taking with you. Now let’s start making!
You will need:
- 1 box Chex cereal (any variety)
- 1 package white Candiquick
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- blue/white sprinkles
- 1 large Ziploc bag
First you are going to melt your butter and white chocolate together, then stir until evenly blended and add in your vanilla. Next, pour it over your Chex in a large bowl then mix to fully coat your cereal.
Add your powdered sugar and a generous amount of sprinkles to a large Ziploc bag, then pour in your Chex mixture. Now seal and shake for one minute. Pour out and it’s ready to serve!
Wasn’t that easy? It is SO delicious, and my kids love shaking the bag for me!
