I whipped up these amazing Blueberry Cream Cheese Pinwheels as part of a campaign for Collective Bias and their partners. All opinions are 100% my own.
Do you want to know what two of my favorite things to eat are? Blueberries and cream cheese. I absolutely love them as ingredients and I love finding new ways to serve them. When I saw the new Philadelphia Blueberry Cream Cheese at Walmart last week I picked up a few tubs and set out to come up with a great new blueberry creation! I wanted to make it easy, but still be creative and flavorful so I decided to do a fruity take on cinnamon rolls for a more balanced and cream cheesy twist. What I came up with was amazing – light and fluffy Blueberry Cream Cheese Pinwheels! Read on to find out how to make them.
Blueberry Cream Cheese Pinwheels
These are incredibly easy thanks to Philly’s blueberry infused cream cheese. Check out the WHOLE berries mixed right into the cheese – delicious! I didn’t even know this existed before last week but oh.my.gosh. now I just wish I had discovered it sooner!
Now on to the recipe. Here is what you need:
- pre-made refrigerated dough or biscuit dough
- Philadelphia Blueberry Cream Cheese
- blueberries
First, take your dough and roll it out to 1/4 inch thick. If you are using pre-made dough then you will probably only need to unroll it. Spread a generous amount of Philadelphia Blueberry cream cheese on it and sprinkle a few blueberries on top.
Roll it up tightly. Now cut in half inch intervals.
Pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. When they are ready they will be golden brown and smell amazing! Take them out, let them cool for a few minutes and serve warm.
Aren’t they adorable? These are great as a breakfast dish, for brunch or even as an afternoon snack. The kids will love them too!
The blueberry flavor is lovely, and the cream cheese gives it a great consistency and creaminess that is perfect to eat all by itself. You can find Philadelphia blueberry cream cheese in the refrigerated section at Walmart.
