Have you ever wondered how to make the felt flowers or rosettes that you see covering wreaths, hair accessories and even clothing? Well if so then you are in luck! They are super easy, extremely inexpensive and each takes less than five minutes to make.
To make felt flowers and rosettes you will need felt, scissors, a few pins, a needle and thread. Each one is a different process, so I will start with rosettes because they are the quickest.
How To Make Felt Rosettes
Wasn’t that ridiculously easy? You can make them as large or small as you’d like, but the ones above are sized for a wreath. You could also get creative and make the edges wavy or spiky for a bit of flair. Now that we have made our rosettes, let’s move on to making felt flowers.
How To Make Felt Flowers
Start with 9 equally sized felt circles, a needle and s small length of thread.
You can make these any number of colors or sizes, and when you’re done you can put them on all sorts of things. Add them to hair accessories, gift boxes, decorative pillows, clothing, necklaces or anything else you can imagine! I’m adding these to a festive Halloween wreath for my front door.
