Simple Gardening

July 24, 2011 by Jess MillionMoments

A few weeks ago I won a Simple Garden Junior from Win, Lose, or Blog  and I’m going to share the cuteness with you! First of all, this company is awesome.  There are lots of options to choose from and they all come with EVERYTHING you  need to have and maintain your own indoor container garden.  I love this product, and it only took a few easy steps to set it up.

This is what it came with: 3 planters, 3 compact soil “pucks”, 3 seed packets, and a planting grid
Put the pucks in a bowl and add 2 cups warm water for each one.  Wait 10 minutes
Halfway through – they get HUGE!
Put the soil in planters. (this part is pretty messy because of the giant soggy soil clumps)
Sprinkle seeds on top.  You don’t have to use the grid, it’s hard to get the seeds in the holes!
Cover with plastic (to keep soil moist and humid) until they get their first leaves.  Water every 5-7 days.
That’s it!
This was so easy and took about 15 minutes total.  It came with Basil, Oregano, and Cilantro and I can’t wait to taste them!
